Move money to a your main account or Jar
You can have separate pots of money:
Money held as Stocks, where you can earn a return
Money held as Cash, in either your main account or a jar, which you can use to send large amounts quickly
If you don’t have a main account or jar set to Cash in that currency, you can add the currency to your account or open a jar. To do this, select the Open button from your Wise account home screen.
Change your invested currency to Cash
Alternatively, you can just change your invested currency to a regular cash one.
In the web or app:
Select Stocks on your currency
Select Turn off Stocks
Select Turn off Stocks again
To turn off Stocks, it can take:
Up to 3 working days if you’re in the UK
Up to 5 working days if you’re in the EEA
Up to 6 working days if you’re in Singapore
Transfer some money today, some tomorrow
To avoid processing delays when transferring large amounts, you might be able to speed things up by transferring some money now and some the next morning. For example, if you’re a personal customer in the UK (where the daily transfer total is 10,000 GBP) and you need to send 20,000 GBP, you could:
send 10,000 GBP whenever you want to send it
send the remaining 10,000 GBP the following morning
If you're sending more than 20,000 GBP then it'd be fastest to send it all in one transaction.
