The HSBC Revolution Credit Card has no annual fee and allows you to earn a huge 10x on rewards (which equals 4 miles) when you shop online. This could make it a great pick for people who use ecommerce sites frequently.

You can get the HSBC Revolution Credit Card by meeting a minimum income requirement, or as a secured card with a 10,000 SGD deposit. There are sign up bonuses and cash back which depend on whether you’re a new or existing HSBC customer, and no annual fee to worry about.
This is the only HSBC travel card with no annual fee - but as with all the other HSBC credit cards, there’s a 3.25% overseas transaction fee which pushes up the costs when you spend with foreign ecommerce sites, and when you travel.
The HSBC Premier Mastercard Credit Card is only for HSBC Premier Customers who must meet various eligibility criteria to achieve Premier status. There’s a fairly high annual fee, but this card offers lots of travel, lifestyle and dining benefits.

To apply for this card you need to achieve HSBC Premier status which means holding a balance with HSBC of 200,000 SGD or more, having Premier status abroad, or taking a home loan of 1 million SGD or more⁶.
If you are accepted for the card you can get a suite of elevated travel and lifestyle benefits including complimentary international travel insurance, Priority Pass airport lounge entry, discounts and exclusive offers with HSBC partners at home and around the world. You may also be eligible for a welcome gift, depending on your card usage.
The HSBC Visa Infinite Credit Card has a high minimum annual income and annual fee, but offers travel benefits and perks.

You’ll also get other travel perks like 4 airport lounge visits annually, complimentary travel insurance and ID theft protections. How you earn - and how you redeem - your HSBC rewards depends on the specific card you select.
Usually, you can redeem HSBC rewards for:
- Airline miles
- Hotel membership points
- Purchases through the HSBC Pay with Points scheme
- Gift cards and vouchers
- Merchandise from the Rewards Marketplace
- Flights, hotels and car rental bookings
- Donations to the One Tree Planted programme
You can earn HSBC Rewards Points when you spend with your HSBC card, according to the reward earning rates that are offered by the specific card. These vary but usually allow you to earn more when you spend in a foreign currency online or in person when you travel.

Conversion rates depend on the card you have. To give an idea, on the Premier card and the TravelOne card, you can get 1.2 miles for 3 HSBC Reward points. On the Visa Infinite, the rate is 1 mile for 2.5 HSBC Reward points.
While air miles credit cards offer excellent rewards for travel, remember that foreign transaction fees can add unexpected costs when used abroad.
